Pole To Peak: Charity climb to help raise money for Debbie Plowman who was tragically injured when she fell from the pole in December, 2009.
The charity climb on Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa, will be held September, 8-18th 2011.
Pole performers and those from the pole community are encouraced to join on this fantastic trip of a lifetime to help raise money for the Pole Sport Benevolent Fund. Donations welcome.

The PFA is proud to announce the release of the Olympic Committee's paper "Pole Sports: A Roadmap to the Olympics."
It outlines the steps that we are going to take in cooperation with the pole dance and fitness community to bring Pole Sports to the world stage.

East Meets West Pole Events  |
We are proud to announce our affiliation with East Meets West Pole Events. EMW will be hosting two events for 2010.
West Coast: The Tri-Pole Challenge. August 13-15, 2010 at the El Portal Theatre in N. Hollywood, California. The Tri-Pole Challenge will consist of three competition divisions. First, the Pole-Am for ladies 18-34, who currently hold no titles. Second, the Mrs. Spinster category for ladies 34 and up. Finally, the Bi-Poler division, the doubles competition, that included teams of male/female or female/female. The Tri-Pole Challenge weekend will also include a red-carpet "Rock the Pole" exhibition, as well as, workshops hosted by X-Polesitions. Deadline for submissions to perform in the Rock the Pole event and entries for the competitions are due on June 1, 2010.
East Coast: Polarity Competition. September 10-12, 2010 at the Paramount Theater in Charlottesville, Virginia. This competition will focus on the "poler" opposite skill sets found in the art of pole dance. In the first, competitors will compete for title of "Drama King or Queen," as they weave a theatrical presentation for their audience. The second category is for the sport-minded dancers, as they focus on fitness and tricks, in the Trixpert division. Men are welcome to compete in both events. This weekend will also include Friday night special events and workshops over the weekend. Deadline for competition entries is July 1, 2010.
Both of these events are PFA sanctioned. In the interest of competitor safety, PFA will have a representative on site, as well as, provide judges who are working to set and maintain industry standards, for effective and efficient scoring protocols.
